Introducing our Health and Safety Manager
Mitch Fougere, has extensive experience in Health and Safety ranging from offshore oil and gas works on the Grand Banks, to Fort McMurray working at the Fort Hills site at the start up phase during road works and initial infrastructure.
Mitch joined Arguson in August of 2015 and has implemented a positive safety culture to date. He will be undertaking the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification to further strengthen our safety culture, once Arguson achieves their COR Designation.
At Arguson the safety and well-being of our employees and workers/visitors at our sites and offices is our top priority. Arguson’s Health & Safety Management System emphasizes the importance of leading by example at both our office and construction sites. At Arguson we emphasize the internal responsibility system! If you see something, say something! Buy in from all levels of the organization, as well as all parties on site, ensures a positive safety culture at Arguson

- Zero Lost Time Injuries since 2017
- Completion of the WSIB Health & Safety Excellence Program in 2022. This will be continued into 2023 and beyond
- Successful completion of the Certificate of Recognition (COR) internal audit with a score of 89%
- COR external Audit pending to achieve COR certification
- Over 600,000 hours worked without a Lost Time Incident
